Nature never ceases to amaze me, whether it is on an African safari, or while exploring the local backroads on the bike or in my camper van. Often though one has not to travel far. Some of my most memorable close encounters with wildlife have occurred right in our backyard during harvest time when bears come to feast. But no matter where you encounter wildlife, it's essential to respect their behavior when approaching them for that desired shot.
